    Hi Subbu

Its bcos IE has the own Unicode options, and its not use the OS Unicode options. FireFox are using OS Unicode options, and in windows are Unicode not enabled as default.

In Windows Vista are Unicode enabled as default.

Alternately, this can be much easily accomplished with installing ‘NHM Writer’ software, which will handle this automatically and also provide a software using which one can type in Tamil producing output in Unicode, Bamini, TSCII and so on. The software can be downloaded from http://www.nhm.in/software/
